Recording activities against animals during or after a crush session

Activities can be applied during or after a crush session. Learn how to apply medicine individually or in bulk and tag animals while weighing.

Activities can be applied on the go during a weigh session.

For example, if you want to administer a medicine activity and you are applying this medicine on a per weight basis, it is recommended that you do this as you go along.

If the animals are receiving a blanket treatment, this can be applied at the end of a session in bulk.

Log a medicine application/other activities against an individual in Quick Weigh

1. Tap the yellow + 'Manage' button
2. Select 'Log activity' or another option if not a medicine application
3. Select 'Vet & Med' or another option if not a medicine application
   
4. Select 'Administer from cabinet' or another option if not a medicine application
5. Enter medicine details > 'Save'
6. Against that individual, you will now see the activity under 'Applied activities'. If you need to remove this activity, click the 'x' next to the applied activity

Bulk log a medicine application/other activities after a weigh session:

1. After saving your weigh session, click 'View animals'
2. 'Manage'
3. Either 'Select all' or tick the boxes to the right of the individual animals (green indicates selection) > 'Manage'
4. Select 'Log activity' or another option if not a medicine application
5. Select 'Vet & Med' or another option if not a medicine application
6. Select 'Administer from cabinet' or another option if not a medicine application
7. 'Log for all' to apply the same amount of medicine to each animal, or 'Log one by one' if there are differences in application rates
8. Enter medicine details > 'Save'
9. Screen indicating you've successfully logged the activity

Apply a medicine/other activities against an animal/s from Quick Scan session

1. Click the 'Quick Scan' button or select a session in the 'Active Sessions' section underneath
2. 'Manage'
3. Select 'Log activity' or another option if not a medicine application
   
4. Select 'Vet & Med' or another option if not a medicine application
5. Select 'Administer from cabinet' or another option if not a medicine application
6. 'Log for all' to apply the same amount of medicine to each animal, or 'Log one by one' if there are differences in application rates
   
7. Screen indicating you've successfully logged the activity

To add or remove a tag while weighing animals in Quick Weigh:

1. Simply select 'Add management tag' 
2. A list of previously added tags displays > select required tag/s > 'Apply'.
   Note: if you want to apply a new tag, you need to create a new tag before starting a crush session. Please see our Tag Management guide.
3. You can see your tag has been applied to the animal as it will display in the management tag section

1. To remove a tag, click the 'x' next to the tag you wish to remove

At the end of your session, underneath the 'Tags' tab, you are able to see a list of animals grouped by each management tag/s that has been applied. This allows you to manage and track your tagged animals.
