Adding sheep to your account

The best way to add sheep to your Breedr account is to upload a CSV file with the animal information

Note: Check you are in sheep mode in Breedr by clicking the animal icon in the top-right and selecting 'Sheep'.

To bulk upload sheep to your account using a CSV file, head to 'Upload' > 'Custom Import' > 'Import Sheep'. You can then upload the necessary details using your CSV file.

 

What information do you need to upload sheep to Breedr?

  • Passport number (animal ID)
  • Electronic ID (EID)
  • Sex
  • Date of Birth

 

List of EIDs, but no animal IDs?

If you have a list of EID numbers but no animal IDs, download our template to generate animal ID numbers from your EIDs. You need to remove any zeros in front of the EID numbers before pasting them into the template.
