Apply medicine to your animal/s in Breedr

You can log a medicine against an individual, multiple, groups or location of animals.

How to log a medicine against individual and multiple animals:

  2. 'Manage'
  3. Select individual animal/s by tapping the grey box to change it green, indicating selection > 'Manage'2-Jul-28-2025-08-47-02-7501-AM
  4. 'Log activity'
  5. 'Vet & Med'
  6. 'Administer from cabinet'Apply medicine to one and all
  7. Select either: 'Log for all '- record the same medicine and amount to all animals selected, or, 'Log one by one' - record different medicines and/or amounts against each animal selected
  8. Use the dropdown to select a medicine from your cabinet, or click 'Create medicine' to add a new one. Additional fields will appear once selected.
  9. Fill out details. [Note: The withdrawal will also auto fill according to your medicine cabinet (please note, this withdrawal period is for meat not dairy. You are able to edit the withdrawal period!)] > Save

 

If you are repeatedly applying medicine activities, you can tap the star icon in the top right to add it as a favourite activity.
This will mean you will see 'Administer from cabinet' on the screen of Step 4 and consequently skip steps 5 & 6.

 

How to log a medicine against a group or a location:

 to a group

  1. Select the 'Groups' or 'Locations' tab at the top of your My Cattle page to find the cohort of animals you want to record a medicine activity against. This example will show you how to record medicine against a group but it is the same flow for a cohort in a location
  2. Find the group you need to record against and hold and swipe to the left to pull up two options > select the green 'Log activity for animals in group'
  3. 'Vet & Med'to a group (2)
  4. 'Administer from cabinet'
  5. Select either: 'Log for all '- record the same medicine and amount to all animals selected, or, 'Log one by one' - record different medicines and/or amounts against each animal selected
  6. Use the dropdown to select a medicine from your cabinet, or click 'Create medicine' to add a new one. Additional fields will appear once selected.
