Disposing and archiving of medicines

Learn how to dispose of unwanted medicines and archive empty medicine bottles

Disposing of a medicine 

- Click into the medicine which you would like to dispose of and select the red "minus" icon.

- Fill in the quantity and select the route of disposal and then select 'Log disposal'.

- You will see a green banner to show the medicine has successfully been disposed, the amount will be deducted from the remaining amount and the disposal will log will show in the activity list. 

Archiving a medicine

Mobile  

- Click into the medicine you would like to archive, click on the dust bin icon
- A warning message will appear to confirm you would like to archive the medicine. 

*Please note once a medicine has been archived you cannot unarchive this medicine yourself, please contact the customer support team*
- You will notice the status of the medicine will change to archived 

Web 

You can also archive medicines via the web app. 

- Click on the medicine cabinet icon on your side panel. Click into the medicine you would like to archive and press the red archive button

- Click on the confirm button- *Please note once a medicine has been archived you cannot unarchive this medicine yourself, please contact the customer support team*

Filtering medicines 

Mobile 

- Use the filter option to be able to customise your view of archived, expired and empty bottles 
- You can also sort your medicine list by A-Z 

Web 

You can also filter and sort on the web app 

- Use the filter option to be able to customise your view of archived, expired and empty bottles 

- Click on the medicine header to sort by A-Z
