Filters can be found in the 'My Cattle' tab on both mobile and web. Filtering is used to narrow down animals in order to easily bulk record an activity to a specific cohort. When you filter a list on the web app, you can also download this filtered list of animals and corresponding details to your computer.
Filter animals on the mobile app:
- Go to the 'My Cattle' tab > 'Filter'.
- Tap on 'Any' to the right of the criteria you want to filter by.
- At the bottom, you can 'Save as favourite'. This saves the filter to the search bar at the top of the screen. You can access previously saved filters by tapping the 'Saved Filters' dropdown. Select 'Show animals' to bring up a list of animals within the criteria selected.
Top Tip: You can also use 'Sort' to sort the list you're viewing (e.g. from heaviest to lightest, or oldest to youngest).
Filter animals on the web app:
Go to the 'My Cattle' tab > 'Filters'. You have multiple options to filter animals.
You can use the arrows in the column headers of the table to sort the animal list by a certain component (e.g. sort animals from heaviest to lightest, or oldest to youngest).
You'll also see this 'Filters' option when you go into specific 'Groups', 'Locations' and 'Tags'.
Note: If you want to see your full list of animals again, select 'Clear Filters'.
