Add, edit or delete users in Breedr
You can add users through the mobile or web app, however you can only edit or delete users on the web app through the 'User Access' section
You can add as many users as you need and assign different permissions to control what access they have to your account. You can add users in the mobile app or the web app, but you can only edit users and delete users in the web app.
Add users from the mobile app:
- Go to 'Menu' > 'Settings'.
- 'User Access'.

- Tap the '+' button.
- Add the required details > 'Save and continue'.

Add users from the web app:
Go to 'Settings' > 'User Access' > 'Invite User' and fill in the relevant details as required.

Note: The recipient will be automatically emailed from Breedr, prompting them to set up their own password in order to log in themselves.
What role do I give a user?
We recommend assigning the user role based on a user's role on farm.
Please see the table below, which highlights the visibility and access of different user roles within the system.

Edit users from the web app:
To edit a user's role, change the user status, or send them a link to reset their password, you need to log in to the Breedr web app on your computer.
Go to 'Settings' > 'User Access' and click on the user you wish to edit. You can then edit the necessary details.
- 'User type': this should reflect their role on farm according to the table above.
- 'Account status': 'Enabled' allows access to your account in Breedr, 'Disabled' prevents access to your account.
- 'Force password reset': an email will be automatically sent to the user, prompting them to reset their password.

Delete users from the web app:
To delete a user from your account, you need to log in to the Breedr web app on your computer.
Go to 'Settings' > 'User Access' and click on the user you wish to remove. Select the red 'Delete User' button, and when it prompts you, type 'DELETE' and tap 'Confirm'.
