Logging a medicine activity

You can log a medicine against an individual, multiple, groups or location of animals.

How to log a medicine again individual and multiple animal

- On the My Cattle tab select manage
- Manage
- You can select individual or multiple animals> manage

- Log activity
- Vet & Med 
- Administer from cabinet 

*Note if the vet has been on farm and administered medicine, use the generic vet and med option* 

- It gives you the option to apply this activity to all (meaning all animals will receive all the same dose rate) or log one by one where you can change the date and the dose rate for each animal activity 
- From the drop down select the medicine you would like to apply. Please note you can only select one medicine at a time.  When the medicine is select it will pull across the batch and expiry The withdrawal will also auto fill (please note, this withdrawal period is for meat not dairy. You are able to edit the withdrawal period!) Fill in the dosage and reason. Click 'Save"

*Tip- By clicking on the star icon will favourite this activity meaning next time you go to apply a medicine activity it will display at the top of the screen. *

- Screen will appear to confirm the activity has been logged, it gives you the option to either close the screen or to repeat the activity 

How to log a medicine against a group or a location 

- Make sure you are either on the groups or location tab depending on where you want to log the activity 

- Find the group or location you would like to log an activity against and swipe across left on the pill to show the option to log an activity for either a group or a location 

- Chose the option Vet & Med 

- It gives you the option to apply this activity to all (meaning all animals will receive all the same dose rate) or log one by one where you can change the date and the dose rate for each animal activity 

- Alternatively you can click into the group or location and click the manage button, select all or a few of the animals with the group or location.
