Maps

Map your farm, view where your animals are located and move animals between locations

Easily view your locations and the animals associated with them with our satellite map. You are able to map locations that are all shapes and sizes and colour them as you wish.

Find out how to add new locations, map previously added locations, edit the map and move animals between locations from the map page.

Add a new location that has not already been added to Breedr:

Note: The map will display the area where you are currently using your device. You may need to allow location to be tracked, so click 'Allow' if you see this pop-up.

  1. Go to 'Menu' > 'Maps'.
  2. Select the yellow '+' button.
  3. Click 'New location'.new location
  4. Press and hold the screen with your finger to move the map. Once your dot is positioned at a corner of the location you’re mapping, click 'Add Post' to mark it. Continue adding posts until the entire location is outlined. If needed, click 'Undo' to remove the previous post.
  5. Type in your location name > 'Finish'.
  6. Add in the location details, including the colour you want it displayed as.new location (2)
  7. Your location will now be visible on the map. This location will also appear as an option when you move animals on both the mobile and web app going forward.new location (3)

 

 

Map a previously added location:

  1. Select the yellow '+' button > 'Add to existing'.
  2. Select the name and colour to display the location > 'Save'.
  3. See your new location mapped. Add existing

 

 

Edit your map:

  1. Tap the location you wish to edit by clicking the 6 dots to the right of the information table.
  2. Tap the 3 dots in the upper right.
  3. Select either the visible location area or the location details.edit
    1. Tap a post > move the screen until the marker is in the correct position >  'Update post' > 'Finish'. If no animals are in this location, you can also delete the location here too.
    2. Click in various text fields to edit details where required > 'Save'.edit map

 

Move animals via the map:

Tap the location > swipe to the left > 'Move' > choose the destination location > 'Save'.
