Record Breeding activities in Breedr

You can record a number of breeding activities in Breedr such as pregnancy diagnosis, sire introduction/removal, bulling and more

Find out what you can record and how you can record breeding activities in Breedr against an animal/s through the mobile or web app.

Any time you see the yellow 'Manage' button in the app, you can record an activity.

Click here if you want to run through recording an activity in crush mode instead.

 

Record Breeding activities on the mobile app:

  1. From the 'My Cattle' tab either select multiple animals of click on an individual animal > Manage 
  2. 'Log activity'
  3. 'Breeding'performance
  4. See options you can record under Breedingperformance (2)
    1. 'Log PD Test': select Date; Result; Time Since Conception (DAYS); Number of Offspring; SIRE > Save.
      Note: if a positive pregnancy result is recorded, an automatic alert will save against this animal to notify you on the estimated due date, estimated according to your 'Time Since Conception' days
    2. 'Log Remove SIRE': select Date; SIRE (pulled from your Sires List in Settings) and optional Note > Save
    3. 'Log Introduce SIRE': select Date; optional Notes and SIRE (pulled from your Sires List in Settings) > Saveperformance (3)
    4. 'Log AI': select Date; SIRE (pulled from your Sires List in Settings); set optional alert for x days in the future and optional Notes > Save
    5. 'Log Abort/Still Birth': select Date; Reason; Destination details; Disposal Cost > Save
    6. 'Log Weaning': select Date and optional Note > Savebreeding (2)
    7. 'Log Bulling': select Date; SIRE (pulled from your Sires List in Settings); set optional alert for x days in the future and optional Notes > Save

 

Record Breeding activities on the web app:

 

Through the 'My Cattle' page, you can select one or multiple animals to record various activities, each of which is subsequently stored within the individual history timeline of the selected animal(s).

Note: To apply the same details to all selected animals, choose the 'To all selected animals'  option. To apply different details for each animal within the cohort, select the 'To individual animals option.

 

Viewing Breeding reports:

You can log onto your web app and go to your reports to find the Breeding KPI report.

This report provides a whole surface level analysis of all breeding activities and specific Service activities; Pregnancy activities; Calving activities and Weaning activities.
