Record Financial activities in Breedr

You can record a number of financial activities in Breedr such as animal purchases, costs and sales

Find out what and how you can record financial activities in Breedr against an animal/s through the mobile or web app. 

Any time you see the yellow 'Manage' button in the app, you can record an activity.

Click here if you want to run through recording an activity in crush mode instead.

 

Record Financial activities on the mobile app:treatments-1

  1. From the 'My Cattle' tab either select multiple animals of click on an individual animal > Manage 
  2. 'Log activity'

    1. 'Log Animal Purchase': select Date and optionally enter Purchase Market; Purchase Price per head (£); Purchase weight and who you purchased from > Save
    2. 'Log Carcass Sale': select Date; enter Buyer; Value (£); Grading; Cold Weight; Lot number > Save
    3. 'Log Live Animal Sale': select Date; enter Buyer name; Price per head (£) and an optional Note > Save4-Apr-09-2025-02-43-40-6040-PM
    4. 'Log Animal Related Cost': select Date; Reason; Cost (£) and an optional Supplier name > Save
    5. 'Log Integrated Scheme': select Date and enter Integrated Scheme name > Save


Record Financial activities on the web app:

 

Through the 'My Cattle' page, you can select one or multiple animals to record various activities, each of which is subsequently stored within the individual history timeline of the selected animal(s).

Note: To apply the same details to all selected animals, choose the 'To all selected animals'  option. To apply different details for each animal within the cohort, select the 'To individual animals option.

 

Viewing Financial reports:

You can log onto your web app and go to your reports to find 2 Financial reports - Carcass History and Financial Appraisal report

Carcass History report: includes a Carcass Sales and a Carcass Grading report

Financial Appraisal: includes a Financial Appraisal, Comparison and Animal Purchases report
