Tag management

Manage and easily track animals in Breedr by tagging them with a custom tag; animals can be tagged across any group or location and have multiple tags against them

In Breedr, you can manage animals by adding tags to a single animal or multiple animals. You can then filter by tag/s and record activities against this cohort of animals. These animals do not need to be in the same group or location to be marked with the same tag.

Create a tag on the mobile app:

  1. Go to the 'My Cattle' tab.
  2. Click 'Tags'.
  3. 'Create'.createtag123
  4. Add tag name and choose the colour > 'Create Tag'.
  5. A green banner will appear at the top of your screen to confirm the tag has been created.createtag45

 

Add a tag to your animal/s:

  1. Click on the tag name.
  2. Either search for animals in the search bar or select 'Manage'.

  4. Tap the tickboxes to the right of each individual animal that you want to tag. Selected animals are shown with green tickboxes. Click 'Review Selection'.

  5. Check you're happy with the selected animals, then click 'Submit'.addtag45

 

You can also select animals from the 'My Cattle', 'Groups' or 'Locations' tab and then add tags.

  1. From the 'My Cattle' tab > 'Manage'.
  2. 'Manage'.

  5. Select the tag you wish to use.

  7. A confirmation screen will appear showing that the animals were successfully logged > 'Close'.
  8. Your tag with the correct number of livestock against it will now be in your 'Tags' list. Tap in to view at any time.addcattletag78

Note: Once you have tagged your animal/s, the corresponding coloured tag/s will appear against the animal throughout Breedr.

 

Remove a tag:

  1. From the 'My Cattle' tab > 'Manage'.
  2. 'Manage'.
  3. 'Tag animals'.removetag123

  5. Select the tag you wish to remove.

Add a tag to your animal/s:

  1. Head to the 'My Cattle' page.
  2. Search and/or filter the animals you want to tag.
  3. Select animals by ticking the boxes to the left of the animal/s.
  4. 'Add Tag'.
  5. Select the tag you wish to add from the dropdown > 'Confirm'.

Remove a tag from your animal/s:

  1. Head to the 'My Cattle' page.
  2. Search and/or filter the animals you want to remove a tag from.
  3. Select animals by ticking the boxes to the left of the animal/s.
  4. 'Remove Tag'.
  5. Select the tag you wish to remove from the dropdown > 'Confirm'.

Delete a tag:

  1. Head to the 'My Cattle' page.
  2. Go to the 'Tags' tab and select the tag you wish to delete.
  3. 'Delete Tag'.
