Add a Sire

Sire information can be found in settings on both the mobile app and the web portal.

Step-by-Step

Mobile App

1. Go to 'Menu' and then 'Settings.'
   ​

2. Go to 'Sire Information.'
   ​

3. Press the + icon.
   ​

4. Add a new sire, input name, ID number (Visual, Electronic, or Registered), click the check if it is pedigree (pedigree = registered), Registration number, and Sire's sire.
   ​

5. Press 'Save and continue.'
   ​

Web Portal

1. Find the settings cog located on the bottom left of the screen.
   ​

2. Click on sire information.
   ​

3. Select the + icon.
   ​

4. Enter the sire's information; name, Passport number (EID), click the check if it is pedigree (pedigree = registered), registration number, and Sire's sire.
   ​

5. Click 'Add.'
   ​

Introduce a Sire

1. On the 'My Cattle' page, find the cows/heifers you wish to introduce a sire to. You can filter for a particular grouping by tapping the filter icon.

2. Tap the '+ Manage' button and then 'Manage' again to select the animals you wish to add.
   ​

3. Press 'Manage' again, then 'Log activity.'
   ​

4. Select 'Breeding' and then 'Introduce SIRE.'
   ​
   ​

   

   
   ​

5. Here you can choose to 'Log for all' or change your selection.
   ​

6. Fill in the activity date and choose the sire from the drop-down menu.
   ​

7. Click 'Save.'
