Can I Use Breedr for Other Species?

Breedr supports cattle, sheep, and swine on US accounts. If you manage any of these species, Breedr is built to handle them.

Supported Species:

Cattle

Cattle is the primary focus of Breedr in the US. The full feature set (EID readers, weigh heads, chute sessions, Quick Actions, breed association integrations, genetic testing imports, and supply chain connections) is built around individual beef cattle management.

Sheep

Breedr supports sheep records on US accounts. You can add sheep to your account, log activities, track weights, and manage movements. Contact our Customer Success team to confirm which features are available for sheep on your specific plan.

Swine

Breedr supports swine records on US accounts. Contact our Customer Success team to discuss how Breedr can work for your swine operation and which features apply.

Running a mixed operation? If you manage cattle alongside sheep or pigs, all species can be managed within the same Breedr account. Contact our Customer Success team to set this up correctly from the start.

 

Not Currently Supported:

Breedr does not currently support the following species on US accounts:

  • Horses: equine-specific features (breed registrations, equine health protocols, farrier records) are not available
  • Deer: deer farming and venison production are not supported
  • Chickens and poultry:not supported
  • Goats: not currently available on US accounts
