Medicine Cabinet - Overview

Designed to track expenses, monitor inventory, and record crucial information about the administration of medications, the Medicine Cabinet helps you stay organized and make informed decisions regarding the health of your animals. 

The medicine cabinet is designed to reflect how you use your medicines in real-time. If that is not a feature you plan on utilizing, we recommend adding a large pack size so you don't run out. 

Access the Medicine Cabinet via the 'Menu' page on the navigation bar on the mobile app. From here you can view, add, and delete medications.

The 'Medicine Cabinet' on the web portal is located on the left-hand navigation bar.

You must use the mobile app to add medicine to your Medicine Cabinet.

1. Click the yellow '+ Create' button.

2. Tap 'Medicine' to search Breedr's database for a medication, or tap 'Private medicine' to add your own. 

3. If the medication is in the Breedr database, the date of purchase will populate to the current date. Then you'll be prompted to enter a batch number, expiration date, the name of the supplier, and cost.

4. If the medication is not in the Breedr database, click 'Private Medicine' and input the necessary information (name, active ingredient, manufacturer, use, date of purchase, pack units/size, volume, batch number, expiration date, manufacturer, and cost).
