Move animals off your holding in Breedr

Moving animals off-farm can either be done from your mobile or web app in a two-step process: 

1. Mark animals off-farm.
2. Go to your Regulatory Dashboard to either 'Send to BCMS/ScotEID', 'Change date', 'Don't Send' or 'Undo' movements.

Mark your animals off-farm from your mobile app:

1. From your homepage, go to 'My Cattle'.
2. Use filters/groups/locations/search bar to narrow your animal search > 'Manage'.
3. 'Manage'.
4. Tick the animal/s you wish to mark off farm > 'Manage'.
5. 'Mark off-farm'.
6. Fill out the form as required.
   1. You must select the date that the animals moved off. You don't need to put in a destination if you are not recording for compliance purposes.
   2. Once you've recorded the information you wish to > 'Confirm move'.
7. 'Animals were successfully moved off-farm' indicates a successful movement.

Mark your animals off-farm from your web app:

On the 'My Cattle' page, select the animals you require to mark off-farm > 'Mark off farm'.

Select the date moved off-farm as a minimum requirement and, if you wish to remain compliant, select either:

• 'Move to one of your holdings or farms' if you have multiple holdings on your account or if you are sending animals to another farm in the same supply chain.

• 'Move to Destination out of your Business' if you are sending animals to another holding that is not part of the same supply chain.

Approve movements in your Regulatory Dashboard on the web app:

Click on the number in the 'Ready to Approve' column to bring up animal/s that you have just marked off-farm. Select the animal/s you want to approve. Selected animal/s have a green tickbox to the left of them.

• You can tap the top left box of the table if you want to bulk select the list.
• Individually select an animal/s, by selecting boxes to the left of the table against a specific animal/s.

Selected animals have a green tickbox to the left of them.

 Then select:

• 'Send to BCMS/ScotEID' to notify BCMS/ScotEID of the movements.
• 'Change date' (if you notice the move-off date is incorrect) and then proceed to 'Send to BCMS/ScotEID'.

• 'Don't Send' if you have already reported directly to BCMS/ScotEID outside of Breedr and/or do not use Breedr for your BCMS/ScotEID movements.
• 'Undo' if you'd like to revert/undo the movement.
