Movements Overview in Breedr
It's easy to register movements, births and deaths for your herd and send to BCMS or ScotEID using Breedr.
Movements, births and deaths logged in Breedr, generate regulatory movements ready for you to approve and send to BCMS or ScotEID in a two step process:

Create the movement activity on mobile or web

Go to the regulatory page on web and approve and send
Before recording movement activities:
Link your Breedr account to BCMS or ScotEID - click here for full article or below for a brief overview
- On your Breedr web app, go to Settings
- 'Farm Management'
- 'Add location' entering in your farm address and CPH number
- Add new connection > from the dropdown = BCMS Integration > Save > Enter in your Farm Software details > Save. Click here to find out more about your Farm Software details if you don't already have them
- Tick the box at the bottom of Farm Management page that states 'Send registrations and movements to BCMS Integration' > Save
Now you have set up your connection to BCMS or ScotEID (indicated by a 'Connected' label and green tickbox in the Farm Management page described above), you can start recording movement activities.
The Process:
- Record your movement activity
- On Movements: 'Scan passport'; 'Add animal'; 'Move to location' [from a different CPH number of your own] - mobile app only
- Off Movements: 'Mark off farm'; 'Move to location' [to a different CPH number of your own] - mobile and web app
- Deaths: 'Mark as dead' - mobile and web app
- Births: 'Log Birth'; 'Scan passport' - mobile app only
- Go to your Regulatory dashboard
- Click on the number in the Ready to Approve column to bring up animal/s that you have just recorded a movement activity for. Select animals and either:
- 'Approve and send' to notify BCMS/ScotEID of the movements/registrations
- 'Change date' (if you notice the move off date is incorrect) and then proceed to 'Approve and send'
Alternatively, select: - 'Abort (do not send)' if you have already reported directly to BCMS/ScotEID outside of Breedr and/or do not use Breedr for your BCMS movements
- 'Reject' if you'd like to revert/undo the movement
- Click on the number in the Ready to Approve column to bring up animal/s that you have just recorded a movement activity for. Select animals and either:
