Log a Birth - Mobile

Step-by-step

1. On the homepage, select 'Log Birth'.

2. Select the Dam you would like to log a birth for (search for an ID number or scroll through the list of Dams).

3. Enter the date of birth and the number of offspring.
   ​
   If you don't have IDs for the calf, you can choose 'Finish and add (1) to herd'. This will create an unidentified animal in a herd until you add IDs at a later date.

4. To add IDs to the calf, tap on 'Finish and create individual(s)'.
   ​

5. Enter the calf's required information, ID number, Sex, Breed, DOB, and Location. You can also enter the birth presentation, birth size, difficulty, vigor, and weight.

   ​Note: Sires already input onto your account will appear in the drop-down menu. If you have not added sires, they will not appear. See this guide on how to add a sire.
   ​

6. Tap 'Save and finish' and a green check will appear, showing that the animal has been created successfully.

   Explore the Breeding Reports on the web portal to better understand how logging this data can help you gain insight into the fertility status of your herd.
