How to add animals to your account on the mobile app
Whether you're using another software, spreadsheets, or paper records, there are several ways you can upload your animals into Breedr.
If you are adding an animal for the first time, and you are using EIDs for your animals, the quickest way is to scan EIDs in Chute Mode. If you do not have compatible weigh equipment or stick reader, animals can also be added manually without scanning them.
Without using Chute Mode, there are two main ways that you can add animals. You can add them individually on the mobile app or upload a spreadsheet with your animal information. Follow the steps below to add animals on the mobile app, or click the link to read the article on uploading spreadsheets of your animals.

Note: To assign an animal to a specific Group/Location, the Group/Location must be created first.

From the Home page, tap 'Add Animal.'

Input fields, required fields are marked with an asterisk.
3. Once you have input the EID, Sex, Breed, Date of Birth, Date on Farm, and Location, you can tap 'Save and Finish' or 'Save and Create Another.'
4. Once the animal has been created, a green check will appear.
