Step 1: Set up Groups (or Lots) and Locations (Pens/Pastures)

Before adding animals, start by organizing your ranch with groups and locations. This will make managing your livestock more efficient and help you keep track of where animals are and how they're performing.

• Groups: Create groups for different categories of animals (e.g., calves, replacement heifers, bred cows, or Lot numbers).
• Locations: Add pastures, pens, and other areas on your ranch where animals will be kept.
  
  

Step 2: Add Animals to Your Account

Once your groups and locations are ready, it's time to start adding animals. You can do this in several ways:

• One by one: Add animals directly through the mobile app.
• Upload a spreadsheet: Import multiple animals at once using a
• Connect an EID scanner and use Chute Mode: Quickly add animals during processing by connecting an EID scanner.

Step 3: Start Capturing Data

With your animals added, dive into Breedr's data recording features:

• Log medicines and treatments.
• Record pregnancy checks and breeding data.
• Track weights and performance metrics.

These records will provide actionable insights to improve decision-making and drive profitability.
